About the project

The motivation behind our project, GUIDE, is to support adults with learning difficulties in overcoming the obstacles they face in their professional lives.

Project objectives

1. Support adults with learning difficulties (dyslexia, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyspraxia and dyscalculia) to overcome the obstacles they face in their professional life and foster an easier and more flexible lifelong learning process.

2. Train the adults’ trainers about the Microlearning methodology in order to apply accessible educational techniques customized for Adults with learning difficulties.

3. Engage adults trainers and learners in transnational learning activities where they will interact and work collaboratively for producing effective educational materials and techniques.

target groups

Direct groups:

  • Trainers of adults schools/institutes/training centers of formal or informal education

  • Adult learners with LD. There are many different types of learning difficulty, some of the more well-known are dyslexia, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyspraxia and dyscalculia. A person can have one, or a combination.

Indirect Groups:

  • Trainers of other sectors (youth, VET, Higher Education)
  • People with LD from other age groups, for example children, teenagers & youth
