Learning Difficulties
About the project
Basic learning difficulties
ADHD – Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder: affects a person’s ability to focus, stay organized, and control impulses, leading to difficulties in learning and completing tasks. Individuals with ADHD often struggle with maintaining attention, which can impact academic performance and social interactions.
Dyscalculia: a learning difficulty that affects a person’s ability to understand numbers and perform mathematical calculations, leading to challenges with tasks like counting, telling time, and solving math problems. This condition can make it hard to grasp basic arithmetic and apply mathematical concepts in daily life.
Dyslexia: a reading disorder that impairs the ability to recognize and process written words, making it difficult to read fluently and comprehend text. People with dyslexia often have trouble decoding words, which can affect reading, spelling, and writing skills
Dyspraxia: a Developmental Coordination Disorder that affects fine and gross motor skills, making it hard to coordinate movements for tasks like writing, tying shoes, or participating in sports. It can also impact organization, time management, and spatial awareness.
